Spring like weather brings out the compliments

how big is miss mina? so many people assume that luce is a puppy because she's little (18" at the shoulder, 45 pounds).

Mina's 40 lbs and I think 16 or 17" at the shoulder. Celeste is also really tall, so Mina seems extra small next to her.

Even though I have been lucky enough to have healthy older dogs in my life, I am frequently guilty of assuming any and all dog with a heap of energy is a puppy. Pibbles often get the "OMG, NO, REALLY?" comment from me.

Jorge likes the spring because he is a flower sniffer, and who wouldn't want to compliment a dog sniffing a flower? Nobody (except for JFO*), that's who.

*The other night Jorge was sniffing some flowers for about 800000000000 hours and eventually JFo was all "George, LET'S GO." And I tried to defend the flower sniffer with "What if the flowers smell really good???" but JFo didn't care because it was 1am and bedtime. Humph.

We just get crazy looks while walking Shadow in the cold and snow. ;) Although they say we're dedicated puppy parents, you can hear the undernote of and insane in it.

But hey, it was 'warm' here today, too. Above freezing, even!

I need to move.

And I would definitely shower Celeste with compliments if I saw her. I think she's purdy and sweet looking.

Very nicely said. When I feel better, I should definitely take the ladies for a walk. They'd love it.
