Time to remove the muzzles and let the Pit Bulls eliminate the threat antique teapots clearly pose to New Zealand. (This must be a big issue if authorities rush to save people from antique teapots, right?)
My fingers very badly wanted to type "New Sealand." Hm.
Also, my spellchecker says there is no such thing as "Zealand" and that I should edit this comment.
now if that puppy had been trapped somewhere the homeowner couldnt realistically have EASILY handled themselves, like in a drainage pipe or something, then i would not see it as a waste, not at all. but a teapot? really? the fire dept needed to be called for that?
Oh, I don't disagree. It was just the use of the word "waste" that I thought was surprising. My guess is the people thought they would crush the puppy's skull if they tried anything. They panicked and acted irrationally. Perhaps not the best use of resources, but certainly not the worst. :)
