The UPS guy is afraid to even come on my porch, because Beowulf makes noises about coming through the window and eating him. Never mind that Beowulf is a great respect of barriers, he certainly SOUNDS determined. The UPS guy won't even let me bring him out on leash to say hello and hopefully cut down on the death threats.

None of the dogs yell abuse at the mail carrier, because she just stops at the end of the driveway where the mailbox is.

Dex loves just about anyone, uniform or not. He has a favourite mail person in Hawai'i. He loves his Hawai'i mail person. His whole body wags when he sees her. He also takes every opportunity he can to sneak into her vehicle because she let him one time. (It is very difficult to remove him from the vehicle and I have wondered if I will one day lose him to the postal service.)

George hates postal workers because of the noise the mail makes when it's shoved through the door slot.

He also doesn't like the main mail dude because last summer before our backpacking trip, I bought George his own pack and took him out for a walk in it. The mail dude gave him a funny look* and since then George has HAD IT OUT FOR HIM.

*This funny look had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the fact that I was laughing hysterically at my poor, waddling dog.

Sally goes into full on "ZOMG THERE ARE PEOPLE INVADING OUR HOUSE!!" mode. But then, she does the same thing for people walking by our house.
And people using the sidewalk on the opposite side of the street.

And the squirrels that dare move halfway down the block.
