RnK Babbling
I still have yet to figure out how to spell the title of this show. No matter how many times I read the spelling.
1. Credits? I love how they did the credits. With the phantom kids running around through the house. It's really cute.
2. Nino? SO HOT. The first scene with Ryo? "Who are you, my guardian?" and then "I am your guardian." That exchange... and that little bit of steel in his voice? YUM. Usually Nino's characters are kind of pushovers, or awkward or kinda.. weak. So far, not so. Granted... I'm only a few minutes in.
3. And he watches porn.
4. Detective guy: "Don't underestimate the police." Um... I've watched a lot of dramas. Japan's police suck. Just ask Maou.
5. Okay... 18:00 in. Nino... your acting skills have like, quadrupled over the last year. I'm so proud.
6. Condom-girl! Post-it conversation? MADE OF WIN. Aniki freaking out? WONDERMENT.
7. "The way I see it, you're more pitiful than I am." Ouch. And 2... Nino says so much with the look on his face. That's not something the Japanese are known for, but he rocks this.
8. The kids are super cute! And I really love the little comic elements.
9. Nino's bedhead is adorable.
10. Shii is kind of fail. Which is perhaps a good thing. Because I just naturally have a dislike for Toda Erika. And so maybe I can like her if she is fail.
11. *giggles* Taisuke and Shii teasing their Aniki is giggles.
12. Oh. Oh my. Japan... I kind of love you and your crazy ass dramas.
I really look forward to seeing this family bond and how close they are and all that good stuff. It's not something I've seen a lot of in Jdrama, so it should be interesting. Then, looking at the situation they were in. Are in. And how having t heir parents murdered has shaped so much of who they are and all of that.
My verdict: A+
