In which she rants about Harry Potter spoilers...
WARNING! IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO READ HARRY POTTER SPOILERS (WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT BE TRUE), THEN DON'T FUCKING CLICK ON THE CUT!
First off, seeing as I am a Harmonian it is obvious where I am getting all of these spoilers. And honestly, whoever has been posting these fake photoshopped "scans" of Book 7 seriously need to get a life and stop trying to feed their need to feel important at best, and fuck around with people's brains to cause them anxiety at worst. It's sad and pathetic, although, sometimes downright funny. Whoever did that "Hermione as sleeping beauty and Harry kissing her" scan...that was excellent! That was funny--but only because it was obviously so fake no one should've taken it seriously.
Second off, I have no idea what to make of that "Epilogue" that's been posted. For one thing the writing flows well, but the actual content itself is so beyond ridiculously fanficy that I'm positive I've written better.
Harry and Ginny naming two of their kids after James and Lily, for instane, although lacking the Rowling flair and imagination that she usually has in her names, is a passable spoiler. Cliched to the end--but HBP with "sunlit days" and whatnot wasn't the epitome of literature either. But honestly, naming their second son ALBUS SEVERUS POTTER?
That name itself makes me want to discredit the entire thing. For one thing, no matter how Snape redeems himself in the final book, Harry would never forget the fact that Snape was the one that overheard the prophecy, who gave it to the Dark Lord, and is the reason why Voldie went after them in the first place. Snape can save Harry's life all he wants, but that fact alone, that he was the originator of his parents death...why would he name one of his kids after him? When the other two are James and Lily? Snape has as much a chance of being forgiven for that trespass as Peter Pettigrew.
Oh, and just the flow of the name "Albus Severus" is terrible.
Ron and Hermione name their kids Hugo and Rose. I can see Hermione wanting her daughter to be named a simple name like Rose because of the grief she must've gotten over her name...which is why the name Hugo surprises me.
Remus and Tonks have a kid...named Teddy...is that possible? I mean...a werewolf and a witch to conceive?
And apparently the kid is gay because he is kissing Victoire, who I assume is Bill and Fleur's kid? Unless Teddy is Theodora...and I can't see "Nymphadora" who hates that name, would do that to her own daughter...
The fact that their kids seem to be around the same ages also bothers me. Did they plan full fledged fertility schedules?
Also, why does everyone live? Hagrid, Snape, Neville, Percy, DRACO, and the OBHWF lives...so where's the bloodbath? I want this book to RIP MY HEART OUT, not just because of terribly named children, but because I want characters I love to DIE (I'm odd, I know). That's what makes this drama interesting...a happily ever after scenerio in which everyone lives is not an "effective finish."
Also...Luna isn't mentioned. Now I don't want her to die. So if she isn't mentioned because she's dead, I'll die.
I do hope this epilogue does prove false...I wouldn't want my legacy as an author to be a fandom of people displeased with my child-naming abilities. But honestly...Albus Severus...argh!

I personally think Scorpius and Albus Severus should become gay lovers, you know, now that JKR is writing slash and uniting the houses of Gryffindor and Slytherin...
