The worst feeling...

There is definately other things that feel worse than disappointment...but not much. It breaks me to know that some one I care deeply about is disappointed in me or my actions. In the past week, especially the last hour...I've just become more familiar with feeling ot towards another than I really ever wanted to. Who ever wants to feel

Sweetie, I'm very sorry that something this disturbing has happened to you. While I have a hard time imagining that anyone would ever be disappointed in you, I have to assume that the level of disappointment for some people is abysmally easy to achieve, thus making it easier for them to hurt those around them. While I am ignorant of the specifics (and I'm not fishing with that statement, I'm simply stating a fact), I hope that one person's disappointment in you won't make you believe that that feeling is widely held. You are and have been a terrific person in so many ways, so don't let the opinion of one, no matter how much they may mean to you, undercut your confidence and belief in yourself. Remember, taking each person individually rather than as representing the whole is much more realistic and reasonable in the long run.

I love you Joe. You're amazing.
However, my rant was not about others being disappointed in me (which if serious enough would render me non-updating and useless for days) but about two people that I hold dearly disappointing me. One of the very few people whose word I still held great value in broke it and also quite possibly is about to make one of the stupidest mistakes I've heard of...threw me for a loop that night...a big one. The other I suppose is just a continuing disaster I should have forgotten about awhile ago. Owell. Otherwise I am fine and getting ready to go back to school (24th). CANNOT wait to get out of work. You should come up and visit me this year or something- I haven't seen you in eons, but I do miss ze Joe. Thanks for the note (hug)
