Haha, we are friends already! But now we can be hangy-outy friends, and I can be like, "look, this is that guy who I met in a hostel in Naples and then went to Sweden with for a week and sat in a tiny little train cabin with for 16 hours at a time and then never saw again.......until now!" :-) (As opposed to the current story, which ends after "never saw again" ;-)) Anyway, I'm glad to hear that you're doing something you've really been wanting to do. It takes guts to move away, especially so far away, from your family and friends and job just like that! So you'll be in PA first; when will you be in Washington?

yeah, I'll be in PA through the elections, and then probably for a couple of weeks after that whilst I finalise getting a position in DC. That way I can live rent-free until I'm actually employed! :)

My friends in DC have all recommended NW as the area to look in for housing. Does that sound right to you?

Rock and roll man. Change the world, make a stand, fight them on the beaches. Got time for a coffee or something before you go? Come see The Taking of Ramsey Street and I'll buy you a beer afterwards.

Bullshit you are without saying goodbye! I say a party / long promised (from my end) catch up. Perhaps an evening BBQ? Let me know and I'll go clear my roster.

PS - Good move mate, will miss ya but this is something you have to do!
