I have made it to Ithaca, and I couldn't be happier. Over the last week, my parents helped me move into my new apartment, and it is absolutely perfect. It immediately felt like a home, and I just love it. It is in a really nice area, partway between the Commons (the "downtown" area, with a bunch of restaurants and funky stores and the city

I feel like we are in the same place socially, academically, emotionally... but physically we are states away. Starting the new graduate school adventure- getting the lay of the land in our new surroundings :)
