A pic of the makeup for Two-Face in The Dark Knight was posted yesterday. Much better makeup than the 1995 travesty of Batman Forever. Don't look if you don't like spoilers.
I agree that a) Batman Forever was a travesty, and b) OMFG much better Two-Face makeup! I get so upset when movies have bad makeup. More so now then before. I think, "Holy Cats people. I mean, you could have just done lame CGI (which might have been equally bad) but nooooo, you actually chose to do the make up for the character and it looks like he had an explosive accident with Silly Putty." Too cartoony. Hi, it's not an animated movie, don't make it into one with dayglo fright makeup. I could have done better with a kiddie mask and a pot of Rubber Cement. BTW, I don't blame the makeup artist. They're not the ones who get to have final say on what the makeup is supposed to look like in most cases. Gah, and don't even get me started on the makeup in the last Spiderman film. The burn and scar makeup they did on James Franco as the "New Goblin" was terrible. They made him look like he was auditioning for the part of 'Vincent' for a remake of the old TV Show "Beauty and Beast".
