So here is what my first semester of college classes looks like. I don't know the particular days yet but these are the classes I am taking

Seeing that makes me look forward to college again. Then I think about how stressful it is at this point.
Hmm... Actually, you could help me out. Do you know of any schools you think I should check out? East coast, small population, and near a city are my only real requirements. I'd be so so so grateful if you could help me narrow my search even a tiny bit. I'm goin' crazy. :-/
I can definitely help you out a little bit! First of all, I do not want to pump up Colby-Sawyer but it really is an awesome school. It is tiny (only about 1000 kids) and the teachers really are amazing there. I have been in contact with a few of them over the summer just so they can give me advice to prepare. They all answer emails quickly and with a caring tone to them. Most faculty there (all those I have encountered) really do care. It's a liberal arts school. The honors program is awesome and accelerated (you would certainly qualify for it). They accept AP credits, which I think you might be interested in as well. It's worth a look. I will not hold you at gunpoint if you don't go there though

...DO NOT STRESS! It is best that you overstress now and think for the worst possible things actually. I found that I really overthought being in school and filling out applications at the same time. I thought it was going to be HELL. It in fact was not hard at all. I'm not sure who you have for English, but that teacher will have you write a lot of college essays in class. A lot of these essays can be used for multiple applications. The essays really are a breeze and I know they will be for you because you like writing creatively. :D
Here is another random piece of advice for you: Make sure all your homework gets done but also make sure you allot time to yourself doing something completely non-school related. I liked to read books that were not for English class during Senior year. It helped me write my college essays and actually helped ease my mind at night before I went to bed.
Lastly, you will be awesome at this whole process! Any more questions and you just drop me a message!
Wow, thank you so much! All of that is exactly what I was looking for... you're basically my favorite person right now, and I will get right on checking out some of those schools. This definitely gets you that drawing of Mr. Caulfield. :)
OH YES! I am so psyched about college and I will take plenty of pics at the concert. Give me your cell number and I will call too! Just don't pick up if you see a random number come up on your phone so that way you can save the voicemail of it! I hope you can hear it. Sometimes if it is too loud the sound jsut sounds muffled and crap.
You're an early childhood education major aren't you? That is so cool! Any advice?
I'm an elementary ed major, but I've actually worked in early childhood ed. You have to have a lotttt of patience. With the kids and the classes. With the kids its waaaay easier because they're wonderful. With intro to ed classes its soooooo boring. You hear the same crap over and over and over and its stuff you already know. I went in already having taken 3 ed classes in high school and working in a daycare for 7 months, so I was sitting there like duh. ANYways. Prepracticums/Practicums are the greatest! You get great experience and meet some really great teachers/kids. I def didn't know you were an ed major!!!
I'll IM you my number so I don't get random people seeing it :P
Haha. Yes. I am a social studies education major (I am aiming at teaching high school though). I am wicked not looking forward to these ed classes now haha. It's cool that you actually took education classes at Merrimack. For some reason, I just overlooked them all :b Do you know what grade you want to teach?
