On their one year anniversary, he took her to Hawaii. They had been before, but with the band on work. He knew she loved the soft beaches, warm sand and warm ocean. He loved seeing her happy, free from the stresses of work and pressures of being all they could. Free to be themselves around each other, miles away from work.
He smiled as they reached the hotel in the small rental car. Helping her out she went to talk to check them in, her English far better then his. Pulling out the last of their bags he dragged them into the small secluded hotel.
“Here are your guidebooks explaining everything going on around the hotel this week, and here are your keys and room number. I hope you enjoy your stay and thank you for choosing our hotel” Misako smiled brightly bouncing over to Naoya and taking some of the bags. She kissed him quickly before she could pull away he let go of one of the rolling bags wrapping an arm around her small waist.
“Happy anniversary” He said leaning in again.
