WAS THE HARDEST ONE TO WRITE FOR ME...
Chiaki huffed sadly, having to work on your birthday had some ups and downs. The band and staff had all put together a cake and some gifts for her, taking time away from the busy schedule to throw a small party for her. But that still didn't make it a great birthday. She wanted to spend it with family, she was always really close to them and not spending Christmas this year, or her birthday with them was killing her moods. Sighing she played with the strings of one of the presents, watching Naoya joke with Misako and Shinjiro.
“Ah, Chiaki” She blinked turning. Nissy stood smiling hands behind his back as he looked at her, she was curious. “You look sad” He concluded and she sighed looking down.
“I kind of wanted to spend today with my family, you know? We didn't even get Christmas with them...” Nissy nodded looking thoughtful.
“I know what you mean, but you can always spend the days off with them. Just because it isn't a holiday, doesn't mean you cant celebrate it with your family” He said nodding at his own words, making her smile, he had a point.
“Thanks Nissy” He laughed before shifting awkwardly. “Is there something else?” She asked hopeful. He seemed even more awkward now that she had noticed. Sighing he held his hand out a box sat wrapped in pink paper and bows.
“Happy birthday” He said softly “I kind of wanted to give It to you separate from the others” He mumbled looking away. She smiled brightly taking the gift, taking in all the details of the paper and bows before looking up.
“Thank you so much Nissy” She said sweetly laughing softly at his blush as he nodded, going off to Hidaka and Shuuta in the corner.
Yeah, this birthday just got a whole lot better. She concluded in her head smiling.
