I've been checking out LJ themes trying to find one that would make me really want to post more on my LJ. Of course, I've had no real success in this area. There are some themes that fit what I want, but are either for only paid accounts or else you really can't change at all. I'm considering a paid account more because I may be able to create my ( Read more... )

As I mentioned to Xian Jaguar, below. This post wasn't meant to gain pity from anyone nor to give anyone a guilt-trip. Just airing out some personal emotions that I've been struggling with.

I do believe God gives us the desires of our hearts. We just have to be patient and wait and trust Him.
In boldness and expectancy, I know that God has that someone. I just have to wait for the right time ... God's time ... for me to meet her at that right moment. =)

One of these days we may meet each other again.
I've been hoping to go to Anthrocon once more. Not this year, but when things get better and I'm a little more financially stable. =)

Sometimes I miss things cause I'm out of town. Like, I didn't even know you had posted on Feb. 15th about your birthday, til now, because I was out of town right before, and didn't catch up with LJ. I feel bad now. So Happy Belated Birthday! I'm sorry I missed it.

And sometimes, I don't know what to say when people post. I usually suck at social interaction.

If you can't get a Biblical help-mate, is it possible to rent out a room in your house to a fellow Christian guy who could help out around the house? Someone in your church maybe? You'd get help with your mortgage then, as well as someone who might help out with the chores, as long as it's all discussed before he signs the lease.

I'm not posting this because I want a pitty party nor was this intended to put any guilt-trips on others. Once in a while I just have something that I just need to get out in the open. Air my feeling out a bit. Sometimes it helps and gets them off my shoulders a bit ( ... )

I've noticed the same sort of restrictiveness with the journal layouts myself. I miss the old days when you could design your own. I understand about the lack of communication, have you found a church yet? Of course I agree with you about evolution. It was probably a good idea to skip that conversation at the time. I find if I just wait, Christ gives me a better opportunity when they are more open to facts.

Well, for a church ... I'm the Associate Pastor of one. =)
The only thing is that our church holds four people. Check out my reply to Xian Jaguar and it states it all. =)

The scripture always tells us to wait upon the Lord. And so, that is what I do. Doesn't mean I sit on my butt and say, "OK, Lord will provide." I means I still take the first step and trust that He will bless what I do. God will always supply all our needs. =)
