That's appaling. It's so sad to think that women are still being treated in such ways. But the Pink Chaddi campaign is fab! I really want to send in some chones (what we call them in Hispanic culture, I'm pretty sure it has the same silly conotation) but on the blog it says the last collection day is tomorrow. :( I don't think my undies will reach to India if I send them out first thing in the A.M. I did join the Facebook group though, to show my solidarity with the cause. Just lovely! Thanks for sharing. :)

I know, it's scandalous...Iast year there was another bunch of buggers attacking couples on Valentine's day. I hate these idiots who make up a law and then take it into their own hands to enforce it. I'm in Birmingham (UK) right now, and away from the television, so I came across this a little too late to send in my chaddis as well...gonna talk to mum today and try and get her to send some on my behalf though! Thanks for the solidarity :) I'm thrilled that people even came up with that idea! It said in the article that they expected at least 500 chaddis....think it will be closer to 15,000.
