Eragon is a crime against audiences. Half the cast, the director, the producer and the script writers should never be allowed to work on another movie again. Ever. The worst part of the movie was when the bad guy dies, because having him vanquish the 'good guys,' and kill them all in horrifying fasions was my one hope for a decent ending to that ( Read more... )

I cringed enough at the trailer; what possessed you to see it?

I read the book last year, it was a decent enough yarn, but it was pretty obvious the author was young (which I didn't know going into it), as there wasn't a lot of depth or pathos.

In looking for a friend I suspect is on LJ but seemingly I cannot find I happened upon your journal....

... and laughed my ass off. I COMPLETELY agree with your opinion on Eragon. I wanted it to be good. I so wanted it to be good. Instead it was like ... "fantasy on speed" it made my brain cry.

Thanks... I was flabbergasted at the time at just how bad it was. And hey, I like bad, cheesy movies... but I still have my standards.
