I don't often write in this journal anymore, and I especially don't write anything substantial, but I couldn't resist.I think to a certain extent that Debian is in a lot of ways process run amok. I've heard of that sort of result happening in various organisations before too.

Hey, did you have a truck firebombed in your neighbourhood recently? My sister said something about that happening in the south end recently. I think.

Actually, we've had a lot of controversial people win. Both Branden Robinson and Anthony Towns are not meek leaders. The fact that they were less than effective means that there are internal systems within Debian that inhibit change.

Switching voting systems is not going to solve this problem.
