LOL, that's the one thing that always drove me apeshit about MCAD - they don't actually say what they mean to say.
They could have been asking anything from, "Why is this illustration here it's in a sort of different style then final fantasy/video games," to "Lol digimon what's that IDK this japanimation stuff wut wut wut doesn't make sense tell me about it because I just don't know," to "why do you draw this bunny all the time do something else idk," to "don't be so precious about your work you're going to have to kill your babies to make them better."
UGH I HATED THAT CRAP AT MCAD. Teachers just don't say what they mean. LIKE, for example, this one girl Sarah who was there when I was (I think she was back for a while before failing her junior review for the third time) kept getting told by teachers, "you can't do marker work". Which did not mean the collective "you", as in "artists should not use them". It meant that she specifically could not use them right. Her work looked like a five year old got a hold of crayola markers
