My parents have a neighbor who leaves their lights on till April...then she unplugged them. Ridiculous! I'm with you, girl!

Who does that? I mean, seriously! Isn't it bad enough that people put them up in September now? When does she throw away her pumpkins?

I think the world would be a prettier place if people left their lights up all year. The increase in energy consumption alone would drive global warming a bit faster and help the planet shake of the infestation known as humanity. Then my people can come in and harvest plastic from the landfills undisturbed. I fear I have said too much.

I'm of the personal opinion we should just have Christmas 364 days a year and take down the lights for 1 day.

Of course it would be 364 days of Coal in the stockings... because that's what the majority of today's youth deserve, but at least it would be Christmas!!! :P

If we make every day "special" none of them are. I take my lights down quickly and put them up in December because that marks the season as different.

That one day without Christmas would be depression. We could call it "Kick A Puppy Day".
