Attempting meditation

Meditation is probably one the hardest things to do for a human being. Your mind constantly wants to escape. It never wants to be where it presently is. Keeping it in the moment, feeling and focusing on the present is brutally hard. I had the same issue with my back until I had to work on my everyday posture. I also had issue with my feet going numb due to decreased blood flow, which is bound to happen as well. The best times were when I was able to sit beside the ocean, have the sand form a cushon and listen to the ebb and flow of the ocean to time my breathing ( ... )
