ComicCon!
I know, I haven't posted anything in my LJ for a while, but now I've got a really good reason. Last weekend me and kemanorel01 went to San Diego Comic Con!
Unfortunately we only had tickets for Sunday, so the beginning of the vacation wasn't all that great. After only panel at Nerd HQ with Seth Green (damn, he is so awesome!)
Seth is mostly famous for his Robot Chicken animated series. But he also played this guy in Mass Effect!

Other then that, we mostly spent time wandering around Convention Center area, went to the SeaWorld (I love penguins. Don't question it!).
Saturday at 4pm we started to camp outside of Hall H, to get to the Supernatural and Doctor Who panels. There I finally caught up with angel_kink, harmonyhelms, wallmakerrelict and IamSteamGirl (I think she doesn't have an LJ, but I can be wrong. Couldn't find here here, but I follow her everywhere else!). Together we camped the entire night under the hall H.

The Sunday was... it was what it was. I found out about Raphael Sbarge, who voiced my favorite Mass Effect character, and who also plays dr.Hopper/Jiminy Cricket on Once Upon A Time, being at the con only around a week before the con started. I was excited at first, but realized, that he was going to only do individual signings at the same time as the Hall H panels and I was so upset about it. I decided that the next time I would try to get on any convention he is going to catch him, or wait and try to get an autograph next year.
In the morning we went to the hall H - actually got good seats, almost at the front. I stayed there the first panel, then suddenly, found myself leaving and going looking for Raphael. I missed the entire Doctor Who panel, together with the exclusive comic-con preview. And you know what? I regret nothing!
I went there all excited, starting to ramble awkwardly how much I love Kaidan and about how I started to watch Once Upon The Time because of it, and a lot of other things (you know, the kind of rambling that happens rarely, but always during important life events). The entire Kaidan picture he signed almost didn't have an empty spot left, as he wrote down some wishes.
I still can't understand one word here. On the last line "Shepard... So good to see you here, across the Universe. I'am proud, so proud stand with you and (fishl? fisril? what is it???) another day... Always, with all my heart, Kaidan"
Then I asked for a picture. We made a picture, then he said “sorry, about your Doctor Who panel" and just bear-hugged me. And I totally didn’t expect it, but it was so damn nice.
Ok, I’ve heard it many times before, but now I totally can speak from experience. Raphael is just so, so adorable! =D
