Since my secret santa frausorge is awesome, her package of lovelies arrived super early, and I couldn't resist opening it when I was home last week (rather than wait until Christmas proper). And what a package it was!!

Yay, I am so glad the package reached you and the things are to your liking! (Why is it so much fun to see pictures of the things at their destination? Maybe because of recognizing something familiar in a new context?) Anyway, thanks for sharing all the pictures. And your nail polish is so pretty too - what a great shade of blue.

I hope you do enjoy the book when you have time to read. I wasn't sure what the odds were that you might know that series, so I'm psyched that I managed to find something you didn't already have. Hopefully it lives up to expectations. And good luck on your exams before that!

I have to confess I'm not familiar with some of your fandoms, so I went onto Redbubble and picked stickers out of the search results based on abstract cuteness. I'm delighted that you like them!

This exchange is such fun! I'm really glad I got to join this year.

Ah, I didn't know you had an LJ account, else I'd have tagged you of course - thank you so much for the lovely package once more! I agree, the best part about giving gifts is watching people unwrap them. Praise be that we live in the time where we can share the next best thing this easily :D

Have you read it? :D I've never heard of it, no, but I'm not as familiar with American fiction from that time (my studies are quite patchwork, I specialised in 18th/19th century British lit and then 20th century American lit whoops). Thank you, I can use all the luck I can get :'D

Aahah, yeah, I'm that one friend of Kay's that still hasn't gotten over her weaboo phase and likely never will at this point :'D Thanks for going out of your way - you definitely were spot on :D Although I always wonder how these things seem to people who have like no idea what the hell is going on there :'D

You were an excellent santa!

I haven't actually read that volume yet. I have a later book in the series, Emily Dickinson is Dead, which I came across somewhat randomly, and I enjoyed that one a lot. But I haven't gone back and caught up on the others yet. Still I thought for a gift perhaps the beginning of the series would be the appropriate place to start. :)

In any case - your gorgeous card arrived today! I'm bowled over by the magnificence of the gilding. So you're more than welcome, and thank you in turn!

Oooh, so much great stuff!

The scarf looks gorgeous! The Aztec exchange student chocolate bar sounds super intriguing! Love the MCU stickers and the cute sticky tabs. And the different-every-day calendar idea is very interesting/amusing!
