One More Week

One more week of school left. This is fortunate, because as of last night I broke the last two toes on my left foot. My mother had left boxes out in the small downstairs hall, and one of the dogs ran beside me as I tried to navigate the maze. I tripped and banged my hip rather nicely too -I spent all day laying flat on my back. I am sitting here ( Read more... )

Ow! Ow! Ow! Oh, get better soon.

I suppose donating to Heifer International puts a new spin on "cow tipping"?

Thank you! Tea and chocolate truffles are helping.

While any specific animal donations made to the Heifer group are symbolic all money goes into the same fund, I think it's a clever and cute way to teach children about gift-giving and compassion. I have little cousins who would love to give a "llama" or a swarm of "honey bees." (Also, the cow pun is delicious. I have a secret weakness for anything pun-ny.)

Ouch! I'm so sorry to hear about your precious little toes. Along with your truffles you will soon have some other fine sweet treats to snack on! I'm talking about muffins and cookies by the way. Talk to you sooner than later. Bye!

Well my dear, no cow tippin' for me, for I've already procured your gift and it is nearly complete (and like always, it will be a matter of "can Kendra get it to the post office in a timely manner?"). I was going to ask you though... before I leave the bay area, is there any tea you are lacking? Tea will make the tootsies feel better, really.

I could stand for some penis tea, actually. Thank you for asking! ...And by the by, did you get the package from the Pyramid Collection? I set it to your parents' house...

Mwah.

Man, me too. Finally in the middle of high school, I broke myself of collecting paper. I threw away my collection of used dixie cups and teensie little scraps of construction paper that I thought would be useful in some craft someday. But I haven't been able to break myself of anything since.

I now have a technicolor foot. The hip isn't quite as bad today.

I used to be a packrat, until I started to throw out junk two years ago and have been slowly refining my collected sentimental "stuff" ever since. After a while just tossing out things or donating the useful things becomes an addiction in of itself.
