31. Eibie and Corbett: "Meeting"
619 B.C.
This story begin when Eibie arrived in Calhound without any memories in her head. Hungry, penniless, and almost dead, she was found by Corbett who was on a stroll. The shy and quiet Corbett only looked at her without doing anything. Until for a while, Corbett thought that Eibie had died and left her. But suddenly, Eibie pulled Corbett's feet and shouted "F-ffffoooooodddd......". Corbett was utterly shocked and ran away. But his kind heart made him unable to just let the hungry Eibie be. He bought her a couple of bread, which seemed like a piece of heaven to Eibie. When Corbett asks about Eibie's origin, he found out that Eibie has no memories at all. Therefore, he decided to help her looking for job and a shelter.
So, Corbett came to Ana, the owner of Glass Rose tavern. It was a perfect timing since at that time Ana was still looking for a new bartender. Apparently, Ana saw a good potential in Eibie. So, although Eibie has no skill at serving a cocktail, Ana decided to hire her. She then asked Vardamir, Glass Rose's bouncer who have some bartending skill, to train Eibie. Ana's prediction was right after all. In no time, Eibie successfully surpassed Vardamir, gained popularity as Glass Rose's pretty and skillful bartender, and retrieved a great flambé skill which became her specialization.
32. Eibie, Corbett, and Ana: "Glass Rose Tavern"
As time goes by, the trio went very well. Corbett started to be close to Ana and Vardamir after coming to Glass Rose had become a routine (of course it's for seeing Eibie! XD). Corbett himself found Eibie very entertaining, as she always can make him laugh (which is really rare to see). Ana was amused by Eibie's easy-going personality and liked to see her tavern became even more full of visitors (money come money comeeee~). She also find that teasing the cute Corbett was very enjoyable Eibie herself, was very happy to get the job, shelter, and new friends. She got along very well with Corbett, Ana, and Vardamir in a short time.
Slowly, Eibie started to retrieve pieces of her lost memory. First, Eibie dreamed that she saw a great island floating in the sky. Ana says, that is the city of Vienna. When Corbett prepared some simple experiment to determine Eibie's element, he found out that Eibie's element is wind, compatible with that floating city's element. Another deja vu came when Ana was smoking with her favorite rose-carved pipe. Eibie saw the smoke formed someone's silhouette in the dark and she suddenly felt a yearning feeling. Since that, Eibie like to sit beside Ana when she was smoking, saying that she felt comfortable. Ana said that her pipe was made in Quon, but the mariyuana came from Calhound. They became even more confused because things aren't related at all. However, Eibie said that no matter who she was in the past, she really enjoy herself now when she can meet Ana and Corbett...
33. Eibie, Ana, Corbett and Estrell: "The Threads of Fate"
Several months full of happiness passed by. Until suddenly, two women in robes came to Glass Rose. Seeing Eibie, suddenly one of them rushed to her and shouted in anger. She said, Eibie never returned her letter, she felt betrayed by her, and she was no longer clear about their friendship. Eibie, who was clueless of everything, was very confused and speechless. This event created quite a commotion in the tavern, but Vardamir couldn't throw them out of the tavern just yet because they were women. So he called the owner, Ana, to end the ruckuss. Ana tried to talk to the woman, but they ended up in a severe quarrel and create an even more bigger ruckuss. Only after Corbett came and slam them with his magic, both Ana and the stranger started to calm down.
Apparently, the two mysterious hooded women came from Quon. The one who rushed to Eibie was Estrell, Eibie's childhood friend. Estrell, who was the owner of an artifact shop in Quon, came to Calhound accompanied by Delena, her shop assistant, for searching some artifact in Calhound. Not long after she arrived in the city, Estrell heard about the famous Glass Rose tavern and decided to pay a visit. And what a coincidence, when she came to the bar, she found out that Eibie was the bartender. Ana further explained that Eibie had amnesia. Estrell understood the situation and decided to help her friend remember her past.
Estrell told everything related to Eibie's past: her childhood back then in Quon, their friendship, her departure to Vienna with her father, and about an important promise between them (about which no more information given by Estrell since she said that Eibie must figure it by herself). Estrell also revealed the mystery of Ana's rose carved pipe. Apparently it was a product from Estrell's store. It was made by Eibie's father, a skilled craftman, who ever worked for Estrell's artifact shop. However, despite all of the effort, Eibie still didn't remember anything at all. So, Estrell decided to prolong her stay in Calhound because she didn't want to give up just yet.
Glass Rose become merrier. Estrell and Delena slowly become a regular there. Both of them, altogether with Ana, Eibie, Vardamir, and Corbett make a great friend together. Nights after nights, they gathered in Glass Rose, enjoyed Eibie’s Flambé, chit-chat, and become even closer. Despite Ana and Estrell's neverending quarrels, they realized that they actually got along with each other.
At about four months after Estrell's arrival in Calhound (or 8 months after Eibie's arrival), Estrell and Ana suggest that Eibie shall return to Vienna. In Calhound, there will be no progress for her memory revival since Eibie still can not remember a single thing. They hoped when Eibie saw something familiar to her, she could perfectly remember her past. Eibie agreed to go to Vienna because she also wanted to meet her father. Only Corbett opposes Eibie’s decision because he didn’t want to say good bye to her friend. But after Eibie explained that she would return to Calhound eventually, Corbett understands and smiled when she walked away. After that Estrell and Delena also returned to Quon and things become cooled down in Glass Rose. But in the heart of each and every one of them; Eibie, Corbett, Ana, Estrell, Delena, and Vardamir; they know that they will surely meet again.
34. Eibie, Ana, and Estrell: "MatchMaker"
[After Estrell’s visit to Calhound, Estrell often found Delena daydreaming in the balcony. Curious, she asked her why. But Delena kept refusing to talk. Later, she started her investigation and found out that Delena always spaced out with a sad face once she take a look at a piece of photograph. Apparently, it was a picture of Delena herself, Estrell, Ana, Corbett, Eibie, and Vardamir back then in Calhound. At first, Estrell thought that Delena missed the others, so she decided to hold a little reunion. She contacted Eibie in Vienna and asked her to come to Calhound and stay for a few nights. She also contacted Ana and told her of her arrival, and asked her to inform Corbett.
From Ana, she said that she didn't know what Vardamir felt towards Delena. Things got difficult since Vardamir himself was actually quite shy around girls. In the outer, he seemed like a cool and "I-dont-care" type of person, but actually that's because he doesn't know how to act around girls. However, considering past times during Estrell's long stay in Calhound, Vardamir actually showed quite a care towards Delena, which he didn't show to other girls attracted to him. So supposedly, *in his own way* he was somehow interested to the girl. Eibie said, the best thing is to see both Delena and Vardamir's happiness. At the end of the discussion, Ana and Estrell agreed to join Eibie in becoming Delena and Vardamir's matchmakers.
And so their mission BEGIN!~ Whenever there's a chance, the trio will try to make Delena and Vardamir get closer to each other. Sometimes, Ana left them to guard the tavern together. Another time, Estrell asked Delena to buy something for her and Ana asked Vardamir to accompany Delena. Some other time, Eibie caused a ruckuss which put Delena into "a planned danger", causing Vardamir had to save her. The other plans (especially Eibie's XDD) are even more ridiculous, but well, they actually worth for a try
35. Prim Rue and Thanos : "Cooking Allies"
Rue and Thanos meet during the summer festival in Mangus. When the dragon came out to be cooked, they were bewildered how to cook it. Thanos want to grill it with sweet sausages, because they all have been having a salty day in the beach. On the other side, Rue has difficulty in grilling the dragon, because she is more familiar with baking cakes. So they decided help each other. Rue made the seasoning, the sweet sausage, and Thanos os the one who grill it. It tasted great a little odd(quality of Rue) and very scrumptiously grilled(courtesy of Thanos). Afterword they decided to become allies in cooking and help each other in the kitchen. Rue often come to Thanos' home, and then they use his kitchen to cook together and exchanging recipes. Since Thanos is good in culinary and Rue is good in pastry, they're having so much things to teach and discuss.
36. Corbett, Eibie, and Earth - Compound Jealousy
After the moonlight festival, Eibie went to Calhound because she missed her friend there. She met Corbett and told him about moon festival and her new friend in Linwood. Even Corbett totally curious, Eibie didn’t tell him a single name. She asked Corbett to go with her to Linwood. As they arrived in front of Earth’s house and meet Earth, Corbett found that Earth is his old friend. Corbett was so shocked because he didn’t believe that actually his old friend that he know died few years ago protecting Corbett from attacks. And know that Corbett challenged Earth to prove that man is really Earth, his old friend. Eibie confused and she decide to remain silent. The fighting was over and Earth won but still, Corbett didn’t believe Earth. Corbett exhausted so Eibie gave suggestion for them to rest in Earth house. Earth told Eibie the whole story and she tried to be their peace maker so she stole Corbett’s cloth given from Earth as the memento to Earth’s room, and let Tyr hidden under Corbett’s bed. Then, when Earth was searching for Tyr, he heard its sound from Corbett’s room. At the same time, Corbett was searching his cloth and he saw it on Earth bed. They took back their lost things and when they went back to their rooms. At the time, they met each other. They were confused why Corbett came from Earth’s room and why Earth came from Corbett’s room. Speechless, Earth laughed and Corbett seemed want to laugh too but he kept it. And finally, Corbett forgave Earth and so did Earth, then Eibie who has seen the whole thing, came and hug them tightly. She was very glad that finally those two can be close again, although Corbett still shy to get close to Earth.
After that case, Corbett sees that Earth and Eibie are close to each other although in awkward situation. Sometime Corbett feels jealous because Corbett also want to get close with those two, at that time Eibie and Earth will laugh because Corbett who always stay quiet, can be spoiled too and hug him (especially Eibie XD ).
. 36. Corbett and Earth : "Reunion"
Earth was Corbett’s childhood friend. Although they come from different town, but they look like brothers. They met when Earth was playing with Tyr and met Corbett was training magic. And when the recognized each other, they always play together in the forest, read books, train, and else. The unique things from them, Earth is a quiet but calm, and Corbett is a shy boy but he always happy when he with Earth, sometimes Corbett can be a spoilt child to him. But someday, when Corbett was traning his magic, suddenly wild monsters appeared and attack him. Earth was taking a nap below the tree, felt that something happened to his little friend, soo he came quickly and protected him and Earth was stabbed by the enemies weapon.
Earth was dying and Corbett was very sad and cried that he didn’t want to lose his best friend. But Earth said that Corbett shouldn’t cry and he gave one of his cloth to Corbett as the memento, then he asked Corbett to run from that war for Corbett’s safety. Earth asked him to make a promise, that Corbett must never cry again and must become strong to protect the precious things. With sadly face, Corbett ran from that war and cried because he left his friend. After that tragedy, Corbett become so quiet, dark, and never smile again. Few months later, Corbett applied himself to be Calhound’s mage to fulfill his promise to Earth that he must become strong. Someday, when Corbett was asked by his friend Eibie to Linwood, he met his old friend at Linwood, Earth. He was shocked after seeing him, he didn’t believe that Earth was still alive. When Earth was going to tell his experiences after the war, Corbett didn’t want to trust him, and to prove that he is Earth, he challenged him fight that he is Earth or not. Earth accepted that, and when they were fighting, Corbett was shocked again that Earth’s fighting style is same like when they trained together when they were young. Then, Earth won, but still, Corbett didn’t want to believe him. And after few days later, Corbett accept and try to believe Earth, although Corbett still shy to get close to Earth. But Earth always show his careness to Corbett that he still care with his old friend.
. 37. Elliot and Nerrisa : "Immortal Love"
Elliot, met her during a scientist gathering held in Minetta. Her beauty struck him as he fell for her at first sight. But, soon later her found out about her past... the pain she's been through, alone. Though, it was similar to his, it was so different. She has watched countless of beloved people die right before her eyes, due to her immortality, she never ages.. He became more interested in her.
He worked hard, discovering new things for her to see him as someone. She finally acknowledge of his existence but for now it was one sided. Elliot worked hard and will continue to do so... He requested for her help for a research he was doing, she agreed to help... His work was over in the matter of months... less than expected. In order to spend time and get her to realise his feelings for her he asked her to help him with more of his research... To Be Continued
. 38. Prim Rue and Estrell Luce : "Cake Lover"
Estrell was walking back from the Minetta market and got caught in the rain. So she decided to take shelter from the rain in a building. She didn't know the building she went in was actually a bakery. The owner was tired of people just coming in to stay away from the rain and not buy a sweet. So he said to Estrell if she wanted to stay she had to buy something or leave. Estrell got very angry at this since she didn't want her things to get soaked even more and get ruined. Before getting into a fierce argument with the owner, Rue came in and asked what all the noise was about. The owner told her to deal with it since he was busy and went into his office. Rue let Estrell stay without paying and in extra she offered her a cake-bread that she made. The owner came in and scolded Rue. Estrell comes and defends her. In result they both got kicked out. Estrell loves the cake that Rue made alot. So they talked about it for a while and agreed to visit eachother as friends since they got kicked out together. Oh and of course stuff themselves with cake.
39. Corbett, Kirsch & Pfirsisch "Sudden Encounter"
Corbett was training his magic skill in the forest after he lost his best friend who protected him from monster attack 2 months ago. When he used one of his magic Tarot Cards, suddenly the element of the magic went through the forest looking for something Corbett was so curious then he followed his magic element, and he found, the element caught the two little children and they screaming said “HEELP!!!” . Corbett dispelled his magic and rescued those children. They are Kirsch & Pfirsisch from Quon City. They said that when they had lost in the forest, that magic element caught them so sudden. Then, Corbett apologized to them, but those children felt so happy that they had met the strange creature( Corbett’s magic element) for the first time. Then, Corbett asked them to come with him to Calhound, and they did. But suddenly, the monster came and attacked Corbett from behind. Of course Kirsch & Pfirsisch were so surprised and they rescued Corbett quickly. But the monster grabbed Kirsch , then, Corbett casted the spell quickly to attack that monster,and it’s finally vanished down. Kirsch thanked to Corbett but Corbett was seriously injured, Kirsch and Pfirsisch treated him,
Corbett doesn't like to be treated by the twins. But the twins insist (because they feel guilty for having him badly injured). After some arguments - Corbet give up and let the twins treat him.
And finally, those little sibling stay for few days at Calhound to be together with Corbett. Know that those sibling are very attractive and talkactive, Corbett only can trying to be patient with those two.
Corbett actually feel uneasy when near them for some reasons, he acted unfriendly at first. But the twins always dragged Corbett along and doesn't care about Corbett's attitude - after days Corbett finally act nicer and friendlier towards them.
40. Corbett and Ana : "Mother and Daughter (?) "
Their first encounter happened when Ana and Pooshika was running away from Anatoria to Calhound. When she passed by the thick bushes nearby Calhound gate, accidentally she stepped on 'something' hidden under the leaves. To her surprise, that 'thing' was someone's head! Ana was panicked, thinking that she stepped onto a dead body. But suddenly, the person awaken. "She" was a very cute "girl" with a pale face and later murmured in a very weak voice, saying that she failed to control her own magic during training and ended up getting hurt quite badly. Ana directly used her healing power to cure the girl's wound.
After a while and the girl got healthy again, she thanked Ana and introduced her name. She was Corbett, a mage living in Calhound town. Ana also introduced herself and advised Corbett to be careful next time, or else her pretty face will be hurt. For that is such a waste for such a cute girl. Corbett was startled and claimed that she was actually a boy. Ana was utterly surprised. She couldn't believe that and tried to touch Corbett's chest. But Corbett already ran away in fear before she did. Ana laughed and saying that she was just joking, and asked Corbett to brought her to the nearest inn, for she decided to live in Calhound after a while.
Time went by quickly. Corbett's magic became even more powerful and controllable, while Ana became the owner of Glass Rose. Their relationship also elevated, they become even closer especially since the encounter with Eibie. Up to now, Ana still thought that Corbett was really cute though. She loved to tease Corbett, mischievously pinches him, bought him lots of girly clothes, and dressed him up just like her doll (another victim XD). Corbett was annoyed at first, but he knew that he was being loved, so he capitulated and let Ana did what she wants.
Everyone in Calhound saw them like mother and son :D But actually, Ana considered Corbett as her "daughter" ^^
41. Hades and Earth : "Best Buddies"
Once, when Hades visited his new friend, Thanos in Calhound, he found Thanos was having a little chat with two men he doesn't know..
Thanos recognized Hades and asked him to join them.
Thanos introduced Hades to his step brother, Homura, and his friend, Earth.
At first Hades doesn't really care about them. but, when Thanos mentioned about Earth has traveled the world, he got interested and because he got curious, he began to asked questions to Earth.
Earth, who is an introvert, doesn't talk much to Hades. But after he knows that Hades has the same interest with him, he began to talk many things and found Hades was a really good friend.
Earth and Hades spend their time together to explore many places in Arletha.
Since that time, they are best buddies.
42. Esrana and Hades: Memories of Hatred
36 years ago:
When Hades was 8, a man with yellow eyes came asking for Hades' mother's help in the war. Hades, who was despaired by his father's death, couldn't allow his mother to leave him. But still, his mother went to the war.
After the war ends, someone told him his mother died, because one of the enemies stabbed her straight on her heart. One of the acolytes was not able to heal her, and her life was taken away in the battlefield.
Since then, Hades hated the one who asked his mother to go to the war. Until now, his memories of hatred is unforgettable.
Right now:
Hades is going to Linwood to visit Earth when suddenly, he sees a girl, with yellow eyes and clearly not human, because her ears look like elves'.
All his hatred for the man who asked for his mother's help suddenly appears, and he attacks the girl. The girl, who is actually Ran, confused, fought back. Mad with hatred, Hades lost to Ran.
Ran froze him, and asks why he attacked her. Hades told her the story 36 years ago,and the reason why he attacked Ran is because Ran looks like the man who asked Hades' mother to go to war. Suddenly, the girl looks really sad, and then she told him what happened in the war.
Actually, Ran was the acolyte who tried to heal Hades' mother. She tried to heal her with all she could, but all was in vain.
She apologized to Hades about what happened that time. Knowing the truth, makes Hades' anger fades a bit. But, He still hates Ran because she failed to save his mother, and then he asks about Ran's father because he thought, 'If he never asked for my mother's help, then she wouldn't have gone to the war.'
Ran looks sad again and tells Hades that her father died because of poison 3 years after the war.
Then, Ran releases Hades and she goes home. Leaving Hades, who is still frozen by the story..
Since then, Hades always avoids Ran if he comes to Linwood.
43. Rinneth , Elliot , and Fessio : "Third Kruskov"
Hearing of the new scientist, Rinneth went right away to Calhound if the new scientist is a worthy rival of her brother Elliot. Turned out that Fessio ( I hope the name's right) is a good friend of Elliot, although he sometimes trouble Elliot with his insanity drives. When fessio bored/have nothing to do/just being around elliot, he often hit elliot. Well ...no wonder Rinneth worried about her twin brother,,
Thinking if Fessio would be a life threat, Rinneth tried to keep Elliot away from his new friend. After a few attacks, Elliot explained his friend's situation and couldn't help but worry over him. That way, he can BOTH research on Fessio's situation and help him overcome it. Sighing, the sister approved it. And help whenever she has the time.
That's how the Kruskov family had another addition of scientist.
44. Enr , Rinneth , and Cleo : "Kid's Crush"
Enr was always a timid kid, but he wanted to help the adult in anyway he can, so one of the way he saw possible is helping the guild members fighting the monsters. But he was too shy to even knock the guild's door. He went into hiding as he saw people enter and out the guild, especially when he saw a certain people surrounded with ethereal dragon and a person with huge scar. They seemed intimidating.
That was when a blonde girl with cat ear saw him and invited him into the guild. There she introduced Enr and everyone welcomed him warmly as the new acolyte ^^. Well, everyone always need a new acolyte, especially with a guild like in Vienna.
From that time on, Enr spent a lot of time learning and helping the guild member, through healing and whatnot. He was extra happy when Rinneth was around cuz he loved to talk with her. And she listened to. But, whenever Cleo was around, he always monopolize Rinneth. That was when he felt his first 'jealousy' even if he didn't realize it. So Enr was always tried his best to steal Rinneth's attention whenever Cleo was around.
And the Vienna guild days are even more cheery with the new acolyte ^^
45. Orca , Incestre , Rinneth , and Koveil : "Why Do Minetta Mages Proudly Reveal Themselves?"
Why, Orca heard of the new Minetta mage and went to see her himself. And found the new mage is a revealing dressed girl, and immediately have a liking toward her. Stating , "We both have the same profession and hobby aren't we?" . Although she didn't appear to understand what he meant (she didn't show any expression), she appreciated the feelings. More than it, is because he and the two girls accompanying him always defend her from the people trying to mis-use her kindness.
There's one time where she was almost molested (someone pervy touched her butt or anything) during a hearty meal in Minetta bar. Orca quickly tossed the guy out and beat him to a pulp. He said: "why people look at naked woman more?" as he returned to his seat. Incestre and Rinneth were bickering quickly how it's obvious. (although he said that, Orca actually like naked girls, and having secret plans into making her more revealing)
Nevertheless, the presence of the three made her feel comfortable,and her 'hatred' seem to be suppressed naturally.. For the first time in her life she felt acknowledge, and enjoy the moments with her new friends from the bottom of her heart .Although, she sometimes hear a remark by the other two girls: "Why Minetta Mages always reveal themselves?"
Koveil's answer: " cuz like the nature of water, transparent. Nothing can be hidden inside clear water, unless they're tainted. We learn from these nature, so as was told by my parents. =)"
"And for me personally, so my clothes wouldn't weigh me down when i dive into the water and it's much easier to move around." with a voice/face which sounds/seems playful but at the same time empty. =x

This event created quite a commotion in the tavern, but Vardamir couldn't throw them out of the tavern just yet because they were women. So he called the owner, Ana, to end the ruckuss. Ana tried to talk to the woman, but they ended up in a severe quarrel and create an even more bigger ruckuss. Only after Corbett came and slam them with his magic, both Ana and the stranger started to calm down.
Apparently, the two mysterious hooded women came from Quon. The one who rushed to Eibie was Estrell, Eibie's childhood friend. Estrell, who was the owner of an artifact shop in Quon, came to Calhound accompanied by Delena, her shop assistant, for searching some artifact in Calhound. Not long after she arrived in the city, Estrell heard about the famous Glass Rose tavern and decided to pay a visit. And what a coincidence, when she came to the bar, she found out that Eibie was the bartender. Ana further explained that Eibie had amnesia. Estrell understood the situation and decided to help her friend remember her past.
Estrell told everything related to Eibie's past: her childhood back then in Quon, their friendship, her departure to Vienna with her father, and about an important promise between them (about which no more information given by Estrell since she said that Eibie must figure it by herself). Estrell also revealed the mystery of Ana's rose carved pipe. Apparently it was a product from Estrell's store. It was made by Eibie's father, a skilled craftman, who ever worked for Estrell's artifact shop. However, despite all of the effort, Eibie still didn't remember anything at all. So, Estrell decided to prolong her stay in Calhound because she didn't want to give up just yet.
Glass Rose become merrier. Estrell and Delena slowly become a regular there. Both of them, altogether with Ana, Eibie, Vardamir, and Corbett make a great friend together. Nights after nights, they gathered in Glass Rose, enjoyed Eibie’s Flambé, chit-chat, and become even closer. Despite Ana and Estrell's neverending quarrels, they realized that they actually got along with each other.
At about four months after Estrell's arrival in Calhound (or 8 months after Eibie's arrival), Estrell and Ana suggest that Eibie shall return to Vienna. In Calhound, there will be no progress for her memory revival since Eibie still can not remember a single thing. They hoped when Eibie saw something familiar to her, she could perfectly remember her past. Eibie agreed to go to Vienna because she also wanted to meet her father. Only Corbett opposes Eibie’s decision because he didn’t want to say good bye to her friend. But after Eibie explained that she would return to Calhound eventually, Corbett understands and smiled when she walked away. After that Estrell and Delena also returned to Quon and things become cooled down in Glass Rose. But in the heart of each and every one of them; Eibie, Corbett, Ana, Estrell, Delena, and Vardamir; they know that they will surely meet again.
34. Eibie, Ana, and Estrell: "MatchMaker"
[After Estrell’s visit to Calhound, Estrell often found Delena daydreaming in the balcony. Curious, she asked her why. But Delena kept refusing to talk. Later, she started her investigation and found out that Delena always spaced out with a sad face once she take a look at a piece of photograph. Apparently, it was a picture of Delena herself, Estrell, Ana, Corbett, Eibie, and Vardamir back then in Calhound. At first, Estrell thought that Delena missed the others, so she decided to hold a little reunion. She contacted Eibie in Vienna and asked her to come to Calhound and stay for a few nights. She also contacted Ana and told her of her arrival, and asked her to inform Corbett.
From Ana, she said that she didn't know what Vardamir felt towards Delena. Things got difficult since Vardamir himself was actually quite shy around girls. In the outer, he seemed like a cool and "I-dont-care" type of person, but actually that's because he doesn't know how to act around girls. However, considering past times during Estrell's long stay in Calhound, Vardamir actually showed quite a care towards Delena, which he didn't show to other girls attracted to him. So supposedly, *in his own way* he was somehow interested to the girl. Eibie said, the best thing is to see both Delena and Vardamir's happiness. At the end of the discussion, Ana and Estrell agreed to join Eibie in becoming Delena and Vardamir's matchmakers.
And so their mission BEGIN!~ Whenever there's a chance, the trio will try to make Delena and Vardamir get closer to each other. Sometimes, Ana left them to guard the tavern together. Another time, Estrell asked Delena to buy something for her and Ana asked Vardamir to accompany Delena. Some other time, Eibie caused a ruckuss which put Delena into "a planned danger", causing Vardamir had to save her. The other plans (especially Eibie's XDD) are even more ridiculous, but well, they actually worth for a try
35. Prim Rue and Thanos : "Cooking Allies"
Rue and Thanos meet during the summer festival in Mangus. When the dragon came out to be cooked, they were bewildered how to cook it. Thanos want to grill it with sweet sausages, because they all have been having a salty day in the beach. On the other side, Rue has difficulty in grilling the dragon, because she is more familiar with baking cakes. So they decided help each other. Rue made the seasoning, the sweet sausage, and Thanos os the one who grill it. It tasted great a little odd(quality of Rue) and very scrumptiously grilled(courtesy of Thanos). Afterword they decided to become allies in cooking and help each other in the kitchen. Rue often come to Thanos' home, and then they use his kitchen to cook together and exchanging recipes. Since Thanos is good in culinary and Rue is good in pastry, they're having so much things to teach and discuss.
36. Corbett, Eibie, and Earth - Compound Jealousy
After the moonlight festival, Eibie went to Calhound because she missed her friend there. She met Corbett and told him about moon festival and her new friend in Linwood. Even Corbett totally curious, Eibie didn’t tell him a single name. She asked Corbett to go with her to Linwood. As they arrived in front of Earth’s house and meet Earth, Corbett found that Earth is his old friend. Corbett was so shocked because he didn’t believe that actually his old friend that he know died few years ago protecting Corbett from attacks. And know that Corbett challenged Earth to prove that man is really Earth, his old friend. Eibie confused and she decide to remain silent. The fighting was over and Earth won but still, Corbett didn’t believe Earth. Corbett exhausted so Eibie gave suggestion for them to rest in Earth house. Earth told Eibie the whole story and she tried to be their peace maker so she stole Corbett’s cloth given from Earth as the memento to Earth’s room, and let Tyr hidden under Corbett’s bed. Then, when Earth was searching for Tyr, he heard its sound from Corbett’s room. At the same time, Corbett was searching his cloth and he saw it on Earth bed. They took back their lost things and when they went back to their rooms. At the time, they met each other. They were confused why Corbett came from Earth’s room and why Earth came from Corbett’s room. Speechless, Earth laughed and Corbett seemed want to laugh too but he kept it. And finally, Corbett forgave Earth and so did Earth, then Eibie who has seen the whole thing, came and hug them tightly. She was very glad that finally those two can be close again, although Corbett still shy to get close to Earth.
After that case, Corbett sees that Earth and Eibie are close to each other although in awkward situation. Sometime Corbett feels jealous because Corbett also want to get close with those two, at that time Eibie and Earth will laugh because Corbett who always stay quiet, can be spoiled too and hug him (especially Eibie XD ).
. 36. Corbett and Earth : "Reunion"
Earth was Corbett’s childhood friend. Although they come from different town, but they look like brothers. They met when Earth was playing with Tyr and met Corbett was training magic. And when the recognized each other, they always play together in the forest, read books, train, and else. The unique things from them, Earth is a quiet but calm, and Corbett is a shy boy but he always happy when he with Earth, sometimes Corbett can be a spoilt child to him. But someday, when Corbett was traning his magic, suddenly wild monsters appeared and attack him. Earth was taking a nap below the tree, felt that something happened to his little friend, soo he came quickly and protected him and Earth was stabbed by the enemies weapon.
Earth was dying and Corbett was very sad and cried that he didn’t want to lose his best friend. But Earth said that Corbett shouldn’t cry and he gave one of his cloth to Corbett as the memento, then he asked Corbett to run from that war for Corbett’s safety. Earth asked him to make a promise, that Corbett must never cry again and must become strong to protect the precious things. With sadly face, Corbett ran from that war and cried because he left his friend. After that tragedy, Corbett become so quiet, dark, and never smile again. Few months later, Corbett applied himself to be Calhound’s mage to fulfill his promise to Earth that he must become strong. Someday, when Corbett was asked by his friend Eibie to Linwood, he met his old friend at Linwood, Earth. He was shocked after seeing him, he didn’t believe that Earth was still alive. When Earth was going to tell his experiences after the war, Corbett didn’t want to trust him, and to prove that he is Earth, he challenged him fight that he is Earth or not. Earth accepted that, and when they were fighting, Corbett was shocked again that Earth’s fighting style is same like when they trained together when they were young. Then, Earth won, but still, Corbett didn’t want to believe him. And after few days later, Corbett accept and try to believe Earth, although Corbett still shy to get close to Earth. But Earth always show his careness to Corbett that he still care with his old friend.
. 37. Elliot and Nerrisa : "Immortal Love"
Elliot, met her during a scientist gathering held in Minetta. Her beauty struck him as he fell for her at first sight. But, soon later her found out about her past... the pain she's been through, alone. Though, it was similar to his, it was so different. She has watched countless of beloved people die right before her eyes, due to her immortality, she never ages.. He became more interested in her.
He worked hard, discovering new things for her to see him as someone. She finally acknowledge of his existence but for now it was one sided. Elliot worked hard and will continue to do so... He requested for her help for a research he was doing, she agreed to help... His work was over in the matter of months... less than expected. In order to spend time and get her to realise his feelings for her he asked her to help him with more of his research... To Be Continued
. 38. Prim Rue and Estrell Luce : "Cake Lover"
Estrell was walking back from the Minetta market and got caught in the rain. So she decided to take shelter from the rain in a building. She didn't know the building she went in was actually a bakery. The owner was tired of people just coming in to stay away from the rain and not buy a sweet. So he said to Estrell if she wanted to stay she had to buy something or leave. Estrell got very angry at this since she didn't want her things to get soaked even more and get ruined. Before getting into a fierce argument with the owner, Rue came in and asked what all the noise was about. The owner told her to deal with it since he was busy and went into his office. Rue let Estrell stay without paying and in extra she offered her a cake-bread that she made. The owner came in and scolded Rue. Estrell comes and defends her. In result they both got kicked out. Estrell loves the cake that Rue made alot. So they talked about it for a while and agreed to visit eachother as friends since they got kicked out together. Oh and of course stuff themselves with cake.
39. Corbett, Kirsch & Pfirsisch "Sudden Encounter"
Corbett was training his magic skill in the forest after he lost his best friend who protected him from monster attack 2 months ago. When he used one of his magic Tarot Cards, suddenly the element of the magic went through the forest looking for something Corbett was so curious then he followed his magic element, and he found, the element caught the two little children and they screaming said “HEELP!!!” . Corbett dispelled his magic and rescued those children. They are Kirsch & Pfirsisch from Quon City. They said that when they had lost in the forest, that magic element caught them so sudden. Then, Corbett apologized to them, but those children felt so happy that they had met the strange creature( Corbett’s magic element) for the first time. Then, Corbett asked them to come with him to Calhound, and they did. But suddenly, the monster came and attacked Corbett from behind. Of course Kirsch & Pfirsisch were so surprised and they rescued Corbett quickly. But the monster grabbed Kirsch , then, Corbett casted the spell quickly to attack that monster,and it’s finally vanished down. Kirsch thanked to Corbett but Corbett was seriously injured, Kirsch and Pfirsisch treated him,
Corbett doesn't like to be treated by the twins. But the twins insist (because they feel guilty for having him badly injured). After some arguments - Corbet give up and let the twins treat him.
And finally, those little sibling stay for few days at Calhound to be together with Corbett. Know that those sibling are very attractive and talkactive, Corbett only can trying to be patient with those two.
Corbett actually feel uneasy when near them for some reasons, he acted unfriendly at first. But the twins always dragged Corbett along and doesn't care about Corbett's attitude - after days Corbett finally act nicer and friendlier towards them.
40. Corbett and Ana : "Mother and Daughter (?) "
Their first encounter happened when Ana and Pooshika was running away from Anatoria to Calhound. When she passed by the thick bushes nearby Calhound gate, accidentally she stepped on 'something' hidden under the leaves. To her surprise, that 'thing' was someone's head! Ana was panicked, thinking that she stepped onto a dead body. But suddenly, the person awaken. "She" was a very cute "girl" with a pale face and later murmured in a very weak voice, saying that she failed to control her own magic during training and ended up getting hurt quite badly. Ana directly used her healing power to cure the girl's wound.
After a while and the girl got healthy again, she thanked Ana and introduced her name. She was Corbett, a mage living in Calhound town. Ana also introduced herself and advised Corbett to be careful next time, or else her pretty face will be hurt. For that is such a waste for such a cute girl. Corbett was startled and claimed that she was actually a boy. Ana was utterly surprised. She couldn't believe that and tried to touch Corbett's chest. But Corbett already ran away in fear before she did. Ana laughed and saying that she was just joking, and asked Corbett to brought her to the nearest inn, for she decided to live in Calhound after a while.
Time went by quickly. Corbett's magic became even more powerful and controllable, while Ana became the owner of Glass Rose. Their relationship also elevated, they become even closer especially since the encounter with Eibie. Up to now, Ana still thought that Corbett was really cute though. She loved to tease Corbett, mischievously pinches him, bought him lots of girly clothes, and dressed him up just like her doll (another victim XD). Corbett was annoyed at first, but he knew that he was being loved, so he capitulated and let Ana did what she wants.
Everyone in Calhound saw them like mother and son :D But actually, Ana considered Corbett as her "daughter" ^^
41. Hades and Earth : "Best Buddies"
Once, when Hades visited his new friend, Thanos in Calhound, he found Thanos was having a little chat with two men he doesn't know..
Thanos recognized Hades and asked him to join them.
Thanos introduced Hades to his step brother, Homura, and his friend, Earth.
At first Hades doesn't really care about them. but, when Thanos mentioned about Earth has traveled the world, he got interested and because he got curious, he began to asked questions to Earth.
Earth, who is an introvert, doesn't talk much to Hades. But after he knows that Hades has the same interest with him, he began to talk many things and found Hades was a really good friend.
Earth and Hades spend their time together to explore many places in Arletha.
Since that time, they are best buddies.
42. Esrana and Hades: Memories of Hatred
36 years ago:
When Hades was 8, a man with yellow eyes came asking for Hades' mother's help in the war. Hades, who was despaired by his father's death, couldn't allow his mother to leave him. But still, his mother went to the war.
After the war ends, someone told him his mother died, because one of the enemies stabbed her straight on her heart. One of the acolytes was not able to heal her, and her life was taken away in the battlefield.
Since then, Hades hated the one who asked his mother to go to the war. Until now, his memories of hatred is unforgettable.
Right now:
Hades is going to Linwood to visit Earth when suddenly, he sees a girl, with yellow eyes and clearly not human, because her ears look like elves'.
All his hatred for the man who asked for his mother's help suddenly appears, and he attacks the girl. The girl, who is actually Ran, confused, fought back. Mad with hatred, Hades lost to Ran.
Ran froze him, and asks why he attacked her. Hades told her the story 36 years ago,and the reason why he attacked Ran is because Ran looks like the man who asked Hades' mother to go to war. Suddenly, the girl looks really sad, and then she told him what happened in the war.
Actually, Ran was the acolyte who tried to heal Hades' mother. She tried to heal her with all she could, but all was in vain.
She apologized to Hades about what happened that time. Knowing the truth, makes Hades' anger fades a bit. But, He still hates Ran because she failed to save his mother, and then he asks about Ran's father because he thought, 'If he never asked for my mother's help, then she wouldn't have gone to the war.'
Ran looks sad again and tells Hades that her father died because of poison 3 years after the war.
Then, Ran releases Hades and she goes home. Leaving Hades, who is still frozen by the story..
Since then, Hades always avoids Ran if he comes to Linwood.
43. Rinneth , Elliot , and Fessio : "Third Kruskov"
Hearing of the new scientist, Rinneth went right away to Calhound if the new scientist is a worthy rival of her brother Elliot. Turned out that Fessio ( I hope the name's right) is a good friend of Elliot, although he sometimes trouble Elliot with his insanity drives. When fessio bored/have nothing to do/just being around elliot, he often hit elliot. Well ...no wonder Rinneth worried about her twin brother,,
Thinking if Fessio would be a life threat, Rinneth tried to keep Elliot away from his new friend. After a few attacks, Elliot explained his friend's situation and couldn't help but worry over him. That way, he can BOTH research on Fessio's situation and help him overcome it. Sighing, the sister approved it. And help whenever she has the time.
That's how the Kruskov family had another addition of scientist.
44. Enr , Rinneth , and Cleo : "Kid's Crush"
Enr was always a timid kid, but he wanted to help the adult in anyway he can, so one of the way he saw possible is helping the guild members fighting the monsters. But he was too shy to even knock the guild's door. He went into hiding as he saw people enter and out the guild, especially when he saw a certain people surrounded with ethereal dragon and a person with huge scar. They seemed intimidating.
That was when a blonde girl with cat ear saw him and invited him into the guild. There she introduced Enr and everyone welcomed him warmly as the new acolyte ^^. Well, everyone always need a new acolyte, especially with a guild like in Vienna.
From that time on, Enr spent a lot of time learning and helping the guild member, through healing and whatnot. He was extra happy when Rinneth was around cuz he loved to talk with her. And she listened to. But, whenever Cleo was around, he always monopolize Rinneth. That was when he felt his first 'jealousy' even if he didn't realize it. So Enr was always tried his best to steal Rinneth's attention whenever Cleo was around.
And the Vienna guild days are even more cheery with the new acolyte ^^
45. Orca , Incestre , Rinneth , and Koveil : "Why Do Minetta Mages Proudly Reveal Themselves?"
Why, Orca heard of the new Minetta mage and went to see her himself. And found the new mage is a revealing dressed girl, and immediately have a liking toward her. Stating , "We both have the same profession and hobby aren't we?" . Although she didn't appear to understand what he meant (she didn't show any expression), she appreciated the feelings. More than it, is because he and the two girls accompanying him always defend her from the people trying to mis-use her kindness.
There's one time where she was almost molested (someone pervy touched her butt or anything) during a hearty meal in Minetta bar. Orca quickly tossed the guy out and beat him to a pulp. He said: "why people look at naked woman more?" as he returned to his seat. Incestre and Rinneth were bickering quickly how it's obvious. (although he said that, Orca actually like naked girls, and having secret plans into making her more revealing)
Nevertheless, the presence of the three made her feel comfortable,and her 'hatred' seem to be suppressed naturally.. For the first time in her life she felt acknowledge, and enjoy the moments with her new friends from the bottom of her heart .Although, she sometimes hear a remark by the other two girls: "Why Minetta Mages always reveal themselves?"
Koveil's answer: " cuz like the nature of water, transparent. Nothing can be hidden inside clear water, unless they're tainted. We learn from these nature, so as was told by my parents. =)"
"And for me personally, so my clothes wouldn't weigh me down when i dive into the water and it's much easier to move around." with a voice/face which sounds/seems playful but at the same time empty. =x
