So my mom is taking my dad to court for abandonment since 2006.....im most upset about taking a day off of work for this shit lol. Really....he paid all the bills, has documents of this, and proof/witnesses he hasn't lived at home but paid for everything. wow...just wow.

Yep. This is like my mom trying to sue my dad for child support when he drives them all over creation and pays the fucking mortgage. I'm sorry you have to deal with it too :(
