[Politics] Ranting and Raving

I don't like to delve into politics. I used to keep up, yes. But the past years, I have been so utterly disgusted with the insane state of things and the naivety of the people around me (blind trust, fallible arguments) that I've high-tailed away from speaking. It's a sad state of affairs in the UK. For years and years the "two party" mentality has ruled the roose - last election Labour (well, actually Blair) was saying that if you didn't vote for Labour you were going to let the Tories in. Which basically reads - "we're shit scared that the LibDems are getting all our votes, so lets get the old idea that "no one votes for the LibDems so they'll never get in". grrrrrrrrr.

Sadly in the Uk it seems a lot of the time it's down to tactical voting and to be honest if you get the three main parties represented in your area you're really lucky. If you're very unlucky you also get the BNP :( There just aren't enough Green Party representatives around.
