My eye hurts -- an indication to get a new pair of contacts. For as long as I can remember, I'll use monthly disposables for as long as they can possibly last, sometimes up to a year. I guess this is bad and any optician would yell at me for that, but I do try to clean them and handle them properly.

You cant blink as your eyes are held open with some metal thingy. You cant see the laser and it does not hurt. I have maintained the same degree since the surgery for over 8 years or so. It was worth every cent (not that I paid any since my eyesight was so bad that it was covered)

Seeing how much contact lens and glasses costs here, we would have paid it out with our own pockets but did not have to in the end.
