These sound like fantastic things to use for random plant ferilizer type experiments. Not with your own plants mind you, we have a fantastic campus that is full of lots of types of plants year round. Though I could see one or two pills to be sacrificed the the DC&M gods, according to mythbusters, the caffeine in them should help result in a good reaction.
