Boys Love is...
I'LL NEVER LOOK AT SAITOU THE SAME WAY ANYMORE. *A*
Boys Love is a beautiful, beautiful heart wrenching movie. I love the visualization. I love the way they convey their emotions into small details, like when Noeru smiled as the wind blew against his face, like how Mamiya drank seventeen cans of dry beer and boxed and then flashes of his thought about Noeru appeared, like when they went swimming and Noeru smiled very childlikely, like... gah.. i could mention tonnes of the scene that made me cringe because i freaking love the emotion flow.
I love the BGM. It's kinda... lulling, mysterious, and very pretty at the same time... it was the main aspect that gets me hyped up at some scene, and i think it suits the whole mood too.
Storyline could be better. Especially the... ALHDOHWOHOEPQ)!&@JSDBKG!(_#&!@ *coughexcuseme* ending. I'm pretty sure even if they didn't want to get a happy ending for this movie, they could've come up with lots of better ideas for the ending. Not this one. I mean.. It's like... illogical. And you just don't know why it happens. And then it just ends. There you go, ending credits. Nothing was solved. I was hoping... more.
The characterisation was okay... Konii could act better especially at some parts in the beginning of the movie, like when he interviewed Noeru. His poses were unnatural and seemed to be forced. Noeru's character was too deep to be exploited for a one and half hour movie... But i think it's the best they could do. Saitou acts damn good dammit. Chidori was... a nerdy obsessed childhood friend, as i expected. I just dunno how he got that obsessed. I love the scene where he broke down and cried and cried and cried on his bed though. Noeru's childhood past was too short, and they were like mentioned only for the sake of it. It would've been better to see more, I think. But that would make Boys Love a good 3 hours movie. LOL.
Some scenes are pretty explicit, but i think they're okay. Though it's kinda... ergh... -you know what i mean- to see butt scene of a erm... middle age man. >____>;; Saitou only wrapped in loose towel is hot though. XD The only thing that bothers me was how Noeru could've shown more affection towards Mamiya and vice versa. I mean... sure, I like the fact that Mamiya wanted to stop Noeru from ruining his own life and how their relationship was shown by small details like how Noeru starts to change for the better (he listens in class, he smiles more and more, he becomes open and more honest, their sms-es -which by the way, i'm dying to know what it means.), and all, but... a hug or a kiss won't hurt, will it? Oh, they did hug... but... ARRGGHH you know what i mean. T^T
It's a pretty good movie overall. Love most of the parts until the story goes down drastically near the ending. It’s so disappointing to see the whole ambience they built through the movie suddenly drop only because of the ending. Gahhhh... anyway, yeah... and i love Saitou. :DDD
Oh and, i learned something today: NEVER, EVER, SKIMMED OVER A BACKSTAGE / MAKING OF BEFORE WATCHING A MOVIE BECAUSE IT'S GIVING AWAY MAJOR SPOILERS, YEAH? >___>;; *smackself*

This year I've been busy!
Last month I bought porn for uranaikko (10 points). In November I signed my organ donor card (28 points). Last Friday I caught a purse-snatcher who stole shin_e's purse (30 points). In May I helped sou_umaki see the light (8 points). Last Saturday I gave fujiyuzuru a wet willie, then I took it back (-5 points).
Overall, I've been nice (71 points). For Christmas I deserve a Pony Slaystation 3!
