guys I just got home from trivia and I only saw a little bit from the little I could use my phone but I can't fucking deal with Ryan leaving Empires at fucking all and my tumblr backread is all tears and seriously, what the actual fuck aren't they supposed to have a new album coming out like in the very near future and no one has ever said anything ( Read more... )

I am so super sad about this! :( :( :( :( :( The two times I got to see them live Ryan so sweet and he seemed so happy to be there. I just don't understand, it seems so out of the blue. Just a few days ago they were tweeting about sharing new music and now I'm all worried about what's going on with them. :( I wish they'd put out an official explanation.

that's what's really killing me about all this, there was never ANY indication he would leave. I hope he didn't have to leave because of something serious, like a family member being sick or something like that, but it's so sudden I almost feel like that has to be the only solution, right? either way, I'm so upset about this it's ridiculous. :((((((

FUCKING EXACTLY. after TAI imploded, Empires was my last go-to happy band and now they can't even do that. YOU HAD ONE JOB, EMPIRES. ONE.

Yeah, I'm honestly a little pissed about the prospect of them never talking about it. I was irritated that they never said anything about Al, but that was less of a big deal and he was less integral to the band, so I can see why. But if they never say word one about Ryan, I'm going to be really disappointed. This is RYAN. he was in the band before Max was, ffs. I don't care if it's totally generic and only a sentence but I want them to acknowledge it. He's been too important to the band ( ... )
