Oh god, Cattlin. Oh god. I can't with thia show. I love it so much. I love the Kal storyline abd I particularly like that Chris is currently putting him in his fucking place because Kal needs some pushing. I feel for his friend, they've been besties forever and he doesn't know about Kal or even think to know about Kal. He rly does want what's best for Kal, he just doesn't have the first clue what's best. I don't like his dad. No way is that shit leading anywhere good, even if Kal's storyline isthe based on Frank Ocean coming out. I do love Kal and what a human disaster he is. YES, Chris is exactly what Kal needed, an out and proud, successful black man to show him how things could be if he were to come out. And lord, I dread every scene with his dad because I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, you know? I refuse to believe any periphery character on this show is not shady as shit and I'm just counting down to his dad doing something.

I feel like it's going to end with him losing his dad in his lide, but that, like Frank Ocean, he'll get an outpouring of support, umincluding from his friend Reg. Moreover, I hope he straight Sir Charles' this shit and is like "nobody cares, Kal, definitely not me. Only assholes care a out this shit."" That woukd 100% be my fantasy for this to play out. You know Dynasty would keep working with him.

WHY ISN'T RAQUEL EMBRACING THE FACT THAT SHE'S A BITCH? GO, BE A BITCH ON CAMERA AND GET PAID AND MAYBE EVEN GET SOME LEGITIMACY. That would be ideal! I also kinda hope that Tariq is one that finishes producing his album and then it gets huge (like channel Orange did) and Tariq gets all kinds of work, cause he definitely deserves it.

IT IS SO GREAT. I'd love to know what they thought of it, it seems pretty true to reality (from the little I know about the entertainment business), just with slightly less drama.

BASICALLY! It's so hard for me to choose a favorite but his storylines are by far the best and most interesting part of the show. I wish it got more recognition.

Also, Nick is terrible for MANY reasons, not the least of which because Lupe Fiasco didn't "steal" your girl, asshole. Probs he rescued her from you and they made out and talked about bell hooks all night.
