Awesome! Thanks for the recs. I admit, one of the reasons I picked Angel Beats over anything else was because I had seen your entries about it, so I knew there was a good chance it'd be good. XD I know I pretty much only lurk around your journal, but I really do love reading your thoughts on...everything. XD Anyways, that probably was creepy. >_> But yeah, my husband is a really big fan of more emotional shows, whereas I can go either way, so I think we probably will check out AnoHana. 8D

Hehe, the short length is definitely a plus for us. My husband doesn't have a huge attention span for series (read: he has almost no attention span at all), and I like to marathon entire shows in one go. If we try to watch a long series together, it can get really out of hand. We totally planned to watch another series tomorrow night, so this is great. I would've probably spent hours trolling around being wishy washy over what to watch without a recommendation. And, I don't think either of us will be too disappointed if it doesn't strike us quite as much as Angel Beats. We both liked Angel Beats quite a bit, so we (or at least I) don't really expect anything to live up to it so close on the tails of watching it. We are open to being surprised, though, which is what matters, I think. :D

Man...I'm all giddy and anime high, now. It's been months since I really sat down and enjoyed one. I had kind of forgotten how much I liked it. XD
