i didnt know what these entries were all about, but im enjoying them VERY much.
i'm a little confused though. how does this whole thing work, actually?
how do you try them without buying them?

You usually do have to buy them - you can buy sample vials called imps from the site, or you can find members who are selling them.

I was fortunate that I had some really kind members of the forums there send me some for free to start out with :)
