[rl] Jackson and Edward
It wasn't an ideal situation, this little set up. Jackson was meticulous, he prefer the proper time to prepare- to watch Edward, pick out his flaws, to watch Crane in turn and learn his mannerism. It was not ideal but Jackson was hardly one to say not to a challenge, especially one with such rewards.
So he stood before the door Crane had directed of him, wearing the man's clean pressed suit and sweater vest, tie and slacks. He made a point not to fidget with the glasses, as unfamiliar and irritating as they were. He made a more conscious point not to smile.
It hardly mattered, he knew very well how to distract the man should Edward begin to catch on to the act. Jackson was in all things a professional, and as they said there was always more than one way to skin a cat.
Without further consideration he entered the living space, a look of nearly bored detachment on his face despite how his lips longed to quirk in a small smirk.
