I have made some progress with regards to the mystery of the unusual werewolf behaviour exhibited by Jordy Osbourne during the attack on the high school prom. It appears that, whilst bespelled, the two lovers (as they then were) complied with their destinies and married, however they did so by the use of less than conventional means

I'm not expecting visitors and the knock at the door surprises me. I look up from my book towards the door - a habit I have even though I'm quite aware that the door isn't going to tell me who is hiding behind it. Placing my bookmark carefully in the correct page, I place the volume down on the coffee table and, lowering the music I have playing in the background, I go to open the door.

"Hello," I say, as I see Sophie standing there. Alone. I can't help it, I look round to see if Jordy is with her. After all I've read, I'm growing to expect them to always be in a pair.

"Yes, yes of course - please, do," I open the door wide for her and she steps across the threshold. She walks across the room to stand nervously in its centre as I close the door behind her. Dear Lord, the girl's practically wringing her hands. I'd ask what was wrong, except that would be a patently ridiculous question given the circumstances. "Tea?" I ask instead. "I've just made a pot."
