Sometimes, whole days go by before I check twitter, lj, or even facebook, and there has been so much stuff, I know I just can't catch up to it all (and a lot of it isn't worth the effort, to be honest.) Then I have stretches like this, where I have nothing but time, and even twitter moves at a snail's pace. Maybe I should follow more than 40 people

This is very true.

I take it, then, that you're dealing with cancer? My sister Joan is, too. So is my brother in law, and his brother. Good luck with the treatment!

I'm sure Kelly would say the same thing, too--I wish I could have done more, but at least we shared a few things (including that corny DVD for "The Stuff" which, I've learned lately, was intentionally made that way).

Thanks! With luck, all the hard stuff is done and now I just need to get meds adjusted properly and be scanned periodically. I have a scan Monday to see how well this treatment worked. I'm sorry to hear that you have so many people close to you dealing with cancer. With all the money spent on war, and homeland security, you would think cancer research would also be a priority, but not so much... My best wishes to your family!
