My mom took my dog Gracie to the vet today to be put to sleep...

Its really hard. I feel so numb about it...I still cant believe it. Sometimes it becomes overhelming, its hard...shes been my baby for so long. I know how bad shes been hurting, but its still so hard to let her go.

We had to put my cat to sleep some time back that had been with us for ages, and I usually hate cats, but even that was the saddest thing in the entire world as far as I was concerned. I don't know what I'll do when we put my oldest dog to sleep, or when she passes away on her own.
