So my first day on the internship went really well. Without jinxing myself I'd go so far as to say I kinda loved it. First day of school went pretty well. My two classes seem interesting, pretty neat teachers. All in all I am very happy with it. One thing though, I didn't know a single person in either of my classes!! Even in the halls, I didn't know a lot of people. Is it because I'm a senior now? It was like a differen't school. Well summer is really winding down. I'm ready though for things to start up again. It's actually been a looong summer for me. I feel it's been a productive one as well. Today my mom and I were in the pet store at Paramus Park and I bumped into one of my fav. kiddies from the Y!! I heard a child's voice say "that's my teacher," so I just looked at it was him! Well my child care job is over :( It was sad to go, I will miss the kiddies. Esp. my favorite kid who was just plain adorable!! I'll miss working with my friend Kim! My favorite moment on the job was when Kim, myself, and a nice girl named Vanessa were all assigned the same room and we had 3 kids! Obviously, that was too many workers for one ( Read more... )

Well tomorrow is my last day at the Y. I will def. miss it greatly. Sure I didn't like some of the workers, but over the past few weeks I met some awesome people. Why is it that when we get what we want it's scary. For me, sometimes wanting something is easier than when I actually have it--when I have it--that's when things get scary.
