- writing the essay:  tommy takes a class called "writing the essay" which i always think is funny and he always proclaims extreme hatred for.  as i go to school for writing, while he writes his essays he often says "ugh! how could you go to school for this!"  i usually laugh and say "oh, because i enjoy it."  i do

I wanted to comment on a few things you mentioned in your LJ:
1) the jack dawson "strongly worded letter" made me happy.
2) I too love Charlie Kaufman and Eternal Sunshine and was very happy that he won
3) Martin Scorcese is the cutest little man and if you ever have a dinner party with Marty, please invite me!

Jack Dawson, Tad Hamilton, and Chicken Little. If Chicken Little can be classified as this....three amazing men who make me very happy. And I too noticed the changes to the Oscars, but I'm not really one of those people who enjoys the "weird" awards.
