"what's up"?  how often is there really something "up"?  i suppose if someone that you don't really talk to all that often calls you, it's appropriate to say "what's up?" because you're really saying "why are you calling me?  who died?" ... but to greet a friend?  i mean...

4.  most likely, tomorrow, the fire alarm won't go off at 8:15 and wake me up like it did today
5.  lunch is in twenty minutes, which is good, because i'm quite hungry
