Dream ♊ 001
A simple pleasure of Akihiko Sanada's is coming home after boxing practice and digging in to a tasty beef bowl. A seemingly never-ending bowl of rice with the beef piled high, a fried egg delicately balancing on the top of this mountain of food. Just a light snack before he moves on to his homework.
The dorm mascot of sorts, a white dog looks up to Akihiko with pleading eyes. The boxer looks down towards the canine, raising an eyebrow. The dog's tail begins to wag, eying that beef bowl in Akihiko's hand.
The young man rises up from his chair a bit, glancing around the dorm's lounge. He sees no sign of Mitsuru or anyone else, it looks like he's alone. A bit of a smile crosses his face as he sits back down.
"Alright, boy. Just one bite."
Armed with his chopsticks, he picks up a particularly fatty piece of beef and flicks it down towards the dog. The hungry pup eagerly jumps up and catches the morsel of meat, gulping it down. His tail wagging as he looks up at his new best friend in the whole world. With half that fried egg in his mouth, Akihiko gives a brief sigh. He cuts the egg with his teeth and tosses what's left down to the dog.
The dog gulps that right down too, not even waiting for any further invitation -- he jumps right up into Akihiko's lap and lays down, looking up to his favourite person in the history of always. His tail wags, despite Akihiko's halfhearted attempt at an annoyed glare. Guarding the dorm all day is clearly very exhausting, obviously the furry hero deserves a treat.
That 'one bite' has quickly turned into a game of 'one for me, one for you', Akihiko flicking a piece of beef into the dog's waiting mouth after each bite he takes for himself.
