Who: Jenny and Handy
What: Family time
When: In the afternoon
Where: Her favorite fountain, just outside of the city
Status: Incomplete
jenny anomaly: For a while, Jenny had been staying inside, not really feeling like going out to explore the planet like she would have liked. She still lived with Jack and Ianto, a little bit disheartened when her father hadn't asked her to come with him, well, more than a little disheartened, it kind of crushed her. Especially how he seemed to look at her a little different.
After a little prodding from Jack, Jenny finally decided to get out of her room and take a walk. She knew she had been worrying him, the way she was always to herself.
Walking out of the little house, she headed out of the city, wanting to have a little silence. Then again, she had silence for quite a while now..
HandyTen: Handy had been staying with Rose again and it felt rather nice to have her around again. He was still subject to bordom from time to time.... this was really one of those times. He had put on his favorite... well, only pair of trainers and headed out for a walk.
jenny anomaly: Without really realizing it, she had ended up at her favorite place. She didn't know how many times she'd been here, but somehow, it seemed to calm her. Her fountain, not even that far from the city at all, but hardly anyone ever came here - at least not when she was here.
Sitting at the white edge, she let her fingertips glide over the orange water, watching as little fishies swam by, not yet able to sing, just humming quietly under the water.
HandyTen: He was walking though the city, to a spot he used to frequent in his younger days, or rather the Doctor had. It all seemed so blurred sometimes, having all of his memories, but knowing that he was and always would be, a very different man. He made it to his favorite spot only to find it already occupied, which was a bit odd. He shrugged and walked up anyway. "A few more months and they will be singing" he motioned to the fish
jenny anomaly: Having not heard him approach, Jenny noticeably jumped, letting out a gasp as she heard him. She looked over and froze, her eyes going wide for a moment before she relaxed. She thought it was her dad, but from the clothes, she knew it was her uncle. "You scared me," twice, she might add.
Without much warning, she wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug - a little bit of her normal self coming out, very slowly. Jack's little lecture earlier starting to take a bit of an effect. Pulling back, she smiled at him, though blushing a bit as she looked back down at the fish. "They still sound beautiful though," she smiled.
HandyTen: He chuckled at the unexpected hug, it was good to see her, even though it had taken him a moment to realize who it was sitting at the fountain. "Sorry for scaring you, love." he gave her a crooked smile. It was nice to see someone he both knew and liked on this planet.
jenny anomaly: She shrugged a shoulder, letting her fingers dip into the cool water again, though the fish were not phased by the action at all. "It's alright, I think I'm just a bit jumpy lately," she pursed her lips a moment, smiling softly as she felt one of the fish touch her finger. "Haven't been out in a while.."
HandyTen: "You should go out." he watched her carefully, studying her movements, this incarnation seemed quite a bit more hesitant then her last, and for that he was actually a bit greatful for. He didn't need to see her always running head-first into danger... after all, wasnt that what the Doctor was for? He smiled internally at his thoughts, "Who are you staying with anyway?"
jenny anomaly: Jenny nodded, she knew that she was being quite the hermit, but she couldn't help it. This was her father's home planet, and she knew nothing of the universe, well, there were always other people she could turn to.
"Jack and Ianto, actually," she replied with a small nod, making small patterns on the waters surface.
