Alex knew that he wasn't completely human. It had really taken him almost a year to get his head around that. Once he was alright with that fact he started to wonder about his great grandfather. About him traveling through space and time. Many night Alex thought about how he would react if he ever traveled the stars. He thought it would just come naturally to him and he would love it. But when he woke up face down in a patch of red grass he was freaked

Amy didn't know how long she had been laying there, one knee pulled up and her hands on her stomach -- but it was comfortable enough, not to mention the sound of the small water fountain behind her was very calming.
Once she heard the shout, she then shot straight up on the bench and looked around, her eyes wide as she tried to spot who was doing the yelling.
"... Hello?"

"I'm not sure," he said in a much quieter voice. "I don't even know where here is, do you? Do you know where we are?" He was really hoping that she had some answers because he was at a loss.
"What? Pff, you mean you don't know where we are?" She made a sort of disbelieving face, until she slightly rolled her eyes a moment later, mostly at herself, "No, I don't either. Sometimes I forget the names... usually they're all too long to even bother, you know?"
Turning, she let her feet touch the ground, her eyes scanning over the young man, "I'm Amy, by the way. What about you?"
