Also, I would LOVE to see Lights Resolve again (they're playing here on...Saturday, I think), but if I wanna buy earrings stuff/books for hollow books, I have to save my money. BOO.

I had hearts in my eyes the first time I watched that. HEARTS IN MY EYES. And then I had to run over and post it.

I hear you on the money thing. I just got a notification that a check (to my step-father!) bounced tonight. And the embarrassing part is that I get paid overnight tomorrow. This is why I don't like to write checks - I forget that they're floating around out there and not deducted instantly from my account like everything else.

...wait, aren't you in NC? I was considering going to Charlotte on Saturday, if I wasn't too dead from yet another grueling work week in a row. (Ugh, up at 5 again tomorrow.) Well, fuck, now I'm tempted to go to the show!

And awwww, that sucks. Like I said, if I didn't have to buy materials and such...I would go. (I am, however, going to be buying discard books from the library to turn into hollow books for Empires.) (so not all bad, I suppose!)

And I totally am! I'm about...hm. 30 minutes or so out from Charlotte. And holy shit, are you serious?

...You weren't at Empires in Charlotte in June, were you? I know that candidlily was...and we ended up standing RIGHT BESIDE OF EACH OTHER. LOLS FOREVER. <3 <3 <3

But dude, whenever you go into Charlotte or whatever, you should let me know. WE COULD TOTALLY MEET UP. (is that creepy? I don't wanna be creepy. But I'm all for meeting LJ friends.) (that doesn't sound any less creepy. GO ME.)

NOT CREEPY. Or, possibly creepy and I am too. But I had actually thought of suggesting the same thing when I first realized that you lived relatively nearby and we were talking semi-frequently, but, well, see: shy. I'd love to meet up sometime.

But, no, no June show for me... at least, not in Charlotte. I just moved to Columbia from the Philadelphia area in September. I don't actually go up to Charlotte very often (to be more precise, once so far), but it's not all that far a trip. I was up there last Saturday to speak to my brand new tattoo artist, and I'll need to go back up to look at the artwork once he's done with it in a couple of weeks.

(The maybe for this Saturday is that a guy broke my watch while changing the battery while I was up there, and it should be fixed by then. I was considering asking them to hold onto it until the tattoo was ready and make it one combined trip, but it's just a mall kiosk and I'm not sure I trust them to hold onto it that long.)
