When I worked (okay, volunteered, meaning "worked without pay") at the Dallas World Aquarium, we had a three-toed sloth named Junior. He's probably still there~ sooo sleepy. Only three-toed sloth on display in the US, too, at least a few years ago.
He ate rubber-tree leaves. ^_^. And "sloth microphones". And randomly tried to escape... in a sloth-like manner. We had to keep watch every hour to make sure he didn't slowly climb off.
