Ok, so at this point I realize this BS is only accessed by two people, both of which who never actually read this because they either can't or just don't have the time. That's alright. I'll vent for myself

ok, since you asked....
1.you're in the army, and will be for a while now.
ride it out.
graduating from lwhs should have prepared you for being
surrounded by mouth-breathers for four years.
apply the same coping skills.
2.continue to seek out those with whom you share attitudes, likes, etc.
all of my friends who were in the army managed to find at least one person
with whom they connected, more than just a buddy to commiserate over the
bullshit with.
don't give up on everyone, people can always surprise you.
3.keep your goals in mind.
there were reasons for you joining up, beyond an escape.
don't forget that you can make something happen out of all this.
believe it, and for that matter, believe in yourself, dammit!
4.come back to nyc as soon as you can.

I hope you are refering to me, as the one who 'either can't' access your LJ. I'm trying to make up for months of non-computer access, in a day.

Just tell me what road you want me to start that decision making on and I'll start writing the new fucking path. And you don't even have to follow it.
