you know i'll support whatever you do; can you possible be transferred to some other area where you won't be deployed?

Thanks I really need to hear that. I'm not sure if there are that many jobs within the Army that are non-deployable. I know that there are a few job within my series that don't get deployed as often. There are unit that only have six month deployments but the problem with that is that you get deployed more often. There are non-deployable units in Germany, South Korea, and Japan I believe but I'm not exactly sure. I just keep praying that things will either get better or I'll get a non-deployable unit

if you're that unhappy, then it's good you're talking to a chaplin, and it might be better to try and get honorably discharged now, since it's not as if things are going to be better. I still think you would be a worthwhile person and a credit to your country if you decide to seek a life outside of he millitary.
