Ha, i'm not surprised, I think 95% of the reason they closed down schools wasn't because they were afraid of an outbreak, but because parents all over Warwick went apeshit when that one kid died.
oh geez, thank god you beat it. After I posted this I read a story about a college girl who was 21 who died last week from it, and they're retracing all her steps over the xmas break and making people get shots and antibiotics. It IS pretty scary.
That kid was best friends with my best friend's little brother. :( Poor kid.
8 possible cases now. My friends keep asking me if I've gotten antibiotics or anything, but I have to remind them that just because I live two blocks from the school, it doesn't mean I come into contact with anyone who might have it...
Yeah I feel horrible for that kid and his family. I remember when a kid died at my elementry school and it was traumatizing even if you didn't know him.

15 of my students have gotten pneumonia so far... maybe I should be more worried about that!
