[This is definitely not what Ventus was looking for, but SURPRISE! There's a Flood Unversed springing up out of the ground before him, in all it's jittery majesty.]

[And for it's part, the Flood seems unfocused--like it's having a hard time actually concentrating on Ven instead of looking around.

After a second, though, it draws a bead on him and lunges.]

Well, time to improvise! Ven dodge rolls out of the way, spotting a stick close by. Once he's a safe distance from the Unversed, he scoops up the stick and slips into a battle stance.
