[He's been staring at his journal for a while, just trying to find the right words. It's... difficult, in part because he's so surprised and also due to sadness.

[It's time to go snack-hunting now, with that last experiment over with and things having quieted down in the village. Leon happens to be looking at bags of chips when he sees Ven wandering by, and he waves at him from beyond the window.

...Drat. He realizes just a little late that Ven might not see him.]

[Oh, but Ven knows a friend when he sees them! And he totally caught a glimpse of Leon for a split second.

So, what does he do? Turn around and wave back, of course!]

[Leon smiles, glancing back at the chips before deciding to leave them be. He disappears from sight, walking over to the entrance of the grocery store and stepping outside.]

Hey Ven. Going shopping? [That's usually the reason people come into the plaza, anyway.]

[Ven shrugs. He's mostly just out for some fresh air and a distraction, though stopping by the stores did cross his mind.]

Just thought I'd get some fresh air. I don't know where I'm headed.

I think I might know a distraction or two.

Really? What've you got in mind, Axel? I'm up for just about anything!

[Grune and Ven aren't exactly familiar with one another, but he sounds so down she can't possibly ignore his post.]

I'll do something with you. What would you like to do?

[That's okay! Ven's always up for some socializing, whether it's with longtime friends or someone new.]

Well, I'm not picky. I thought about just taking a walk, doing something with the snow, or dropping by the library. Just something to keep busy...

I think it'll be okay, though. Vanitas is letting me borrow his CD player; I never thought he'd do something like that. So... I guess I did something right.
