I just found out tonight while I was at the basketball game, that one of my good friends, Cody attempted to kill himself. He shot himself in the chest, extremely close to his heart =[ Like an hour later she called to tell me he had flat lined for over 10 minutes. Somehow they brought him back. But anything is up in the air. ohmygod =[

It's a shocking way too see society that he was able to get access to a gun - at least, if he's only your age and therefore underage?

And yeah, hope he gets through it, but surviving this is only gonna be the first step to a full recovery.

He's 19, and luckily he missed his heart by an inch. Ahh he's better now, resting and taking it easy. Thank you all for the very nice things said =)

Ohh Matt I'm so hoping for you and Cody that he can pull through this. That's a tough break. I really do hope the best for him and you.

Wow..... I've had to deal with the death of a friend before, but it wasn't by suicide.... I can't imagine what you must be going through. Well, at least he's still alive, and hopefully he'll stay that way. Hopefully the doctors/friends/family will help convince him to STAY alive. *nods*
